152/25 NUST Launches High-Tech Training Program in Digital Design Verification to Boost Pakistan’s Tech Workforce
Posted 10 months ago
To strengthen Pakistan’s tech future, the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has signed an agreement with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) to launch a specialized training program in Digital Design Verification. The initiative is backed by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) and aims to build a skilled workforce for the country’s rapidly growing semiconductor and digital design sectors.
Led by NUST’s Professional Development Centre (PDC) and the university’s cutting-edge NUST Chip Design Centre (NCDC), the five-month, on-campus program will train participants in one of the world’s most in-demand tech fields. The course combines expert-led sessions, hands-on lab experience, and a final capstone project, all tailored to meet real industry needs.
The training will be held at the Chip Design Centre at NUST, a hub for advanced semiconductor education and innovation. This partnership underlines NUST’s key role in preparing young professionals for high-tech careers and supporting Pakistan’s vision of a knowledge-based economy.
As global demand rises for chip designers and verification experts, this collaboration represents a major leap toward positioning Pakistan as a capable player in the international technology arena.
